Need a different color? You can place an order for our MADE TO ORDER Beanies - please allow 3-4 weeks for your Beanie to be made and shipped.
Each beanie takes about 1.5 hours to make and each one is hand-knit personally by blaksands owner Michelle.
STARTING SEPTEMBER 1st we will PAUSE all MADE TO ORDER Beanies and be offering bi-monthly 'club Beanie drops'. You will have the option to grab a Beanie at one of our fall and winter markets, or wait until drop day to snag one. GET ON THE CLUB BEANIE MAILING LIST NOW

Handmade oversized knit beanie. Made to be rolled, it will comfortably fit over your ears, or can be rolled deeper and sit propped up. Style it any way you like! This beanie is meant to be loved and will keep you warm and cozy all winter long.
Michelle, owner of blaksands makes these to order. Please allow up to 5 weeks for delivery. Due to handmade nature, beanies may ever so slightly vary in color and feel.
Material: 100% Merino Wool. Sustainably sourced in Uruguay. Beautiful, premium yarn that is so soft to the touch.
Care: Wool is all natural and has antibacterial properties. It does not need to be washed - simply air out between wearings or after getting wet. If needed, spot treat by hand.
Wear: It’s totally fine for your beanie to get wet! It will keep you warm in the rain - just let fully dry between wearings - or - before storing.
Measurements: 12" tall (without roll) by 8" across (has some give/stretch and will mold to your head)

CARE & MAINTENANCE
All vintage and pre-loved items have been laundered and/or repaired as needed.
For cottons & denim we recommend washing on cold and laying or hanging flat to dry.
For silks, linens and more delicate vintage tees, we recommend either hand-washing, or washing on delicate ( in a front loader machine ) and carefully hanging to dry/shape.
For wool - these items may be spot treated, or left to air out in the sun. When needed, we recommend washing on a wool cycle with wool detergent, or by hand - carefully rinsing and laying flat to shape/dry.
