Shipping & Returns

Thank you for shopping second-hand! Your purchase is helping the environment by slowing down the manufacturing of new clothes, and keeping perfectly good items out of our landfills. Due to the nature of vintage clothing, items are pre-loved and may show signs of wear. This only adds to beauty of vintage and second-hand. Any major flaws will be noted in the product description. We recommend reading our descriptions carefully. Please excuse us if we overlooked anything major on your garment.

Returns & Exchanges - updated September 1st 2020

Due to the nature of vintage, and our unique finds - we are unable to accept any returns, exchanges or credits to your account. Please be sure to reach out if you have any questions about the garment you are about to purchase. We have listed as many measurements as possible, noted any flaws (where applicable), and provided photos. We of course want you to be in love with your new items - so please reach out with any issues so we can do our best to help you.

All sale items, masks , made-to-order & apothecary are final sale without exception. Sale items (items in the "Sale" section of the shop), items purchased with a sale coupon or code, masks, apothecary, scrunchies, jewelry & shoes are not eligible for return or exchange. Items purchased with After Pay are not eligible for return or exchange.

We offer flat-rate shipping to the US and Canada. If your country is not listed, please reach out for an international shipping quote - many countries have been impacted due to COVID and we are trying to safely ship orders where we have not experienced issues. All our orders are packaged using sustainable eco-friendly packaging and/or re-used materials. Our shipping labels are biodegradeable and our postcards are printed on eco-matte paper (100% wind-power manufactured and made from post-consumer waste). Once you have opened your packge, we recommend peeling the shipping label off and putting in your yard waste and reusing our mailers to keep the cycle flowing.

Please note that once an order has been placed it cannot be cancelled. Be sure you have entered your shipping address correctly - as we are not responsible for lost packages or in-correct mailing addresses. Once your order has left our hands, we are not responsible for lost or misplaced packages.

Once your item has shipped you will receive a tracking number via the email you provided at check-out. You can follow along your package's journey and will receive a second email once it has been "delivered". If you are unable to find your package, or if it was lost in shipping, please reach out to the appropriate shipping company to file a lost or missing package claim.

blaksands is not responsible for any import duties, taxes or fees due upon receipt of your package. Refusal of your package will not result in any refunds and any fees billed to return your package to us will be charged to the customer. We are not responsible for any lost, abandoned or refused packages and/or any additional fees that may arise.
