the Bandana is our newest offering from our knit-wear line. This will be your new favorite accessory for Spring days and cool summer nights. Made from ultra-light merino wool, each one is like a light-weight hug for your neck. Style forwards or backwards - long enough for a simple knot or fasten together with a vintage brooch.

The perfect mini Bandana will add a touch of color to any outfit. Wear as a neck-tie, layered over a collared shirt or a cute graphic tee. Have fun! Dress for joy!
Michelle, owner of blaksands makes these by hand. Due to handmade nature, each Bandana may ever so slightly vary in color and feel.
Material: 100% light-weight Merino Wool. Sustainably sourced in Uruguay. Beautiful, premium yarn that is so soft to the touch.
Care: Wool is all natural and has antibacterial properties. It does not need to be washed - simply air out between wearings or after getting wet. If needed, spot treat by hand.
Each Bandana has been blocked ( aka pre-washed and laid flat ) - if you need to clean or re-block your Bandana to prevent it from warping ( and you feel confident! ) please follow these steps:
Soak in a bowl of warm water with wool detergent or conditioner for 20 minutes.
Gently rinse and squeeze out water. Do not agitate or wring. Be gentle!
Lay flat on a towel - let air dry. Do not launder or dry-clean.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
All vintage and pre-loved items have been laundered and/or repaired as needed.
For cottons & denim we recommend washing on cold and laying or hanging flat to dry.
For silks, linens and more delicate vintage tees, we recommend either hand-washing, or washing on delicate ( in a front loader machine ) and carefully hanging to dry/shape.
For wool - these items may be spot treated, or left to air out in the sun. When needed, we recommend washing on a wool cycle with wool detergent, or by hand - carefully rinsing and laying flat to shape/dry.
