hi friends! Happy Holidays!
One of our most frequently asked questions that I get asked at every market, by every friend and over countless DMs is - how long does it take to make ONE Beanie? I wanted to take this opportunity to break it down step-by-step so you can see the process and how much time and care goes into each one.

one - the yarn arrives in skeins from our wholesaler and in order to knit them up without a huge mess of knots, I wind each one by hand into a ball

two - then I cast on the beanie to my knitting needles and spend about an hour to hour and a half making the actual hat ( watch a video of me in action! )

three - once the hat is done, I knot it off, knit in the loose ends and add a care tag to the inside ( again by hand! )

four - each Beanie gets packed with a care card, label printed, packed and then I drive to and drop off each package to the post office. it will take about another 2 - 7 days to ship to you depending on how far it's traveling!

five - then voila! you have your new beanie and are ready for a lifetime of winters to enjoy. ( watch our style series to see different colors in action )

which color are you getting this year?

thank you for all your love, shares and support of what we do - I love this time of year because I can get cozy at home, make yummy dinners and shamelessly binge watch TV while making these. we are getting close to catching up on our MASSIVE back-log of online orders and will have a pile for you to come snag IRL this weekend at our two Holiday Markets!
