our WHY? - one of the pain points of being a small business owner is the feeling of isolation that comes along with running your own business. It can take a toll on us mentally - the feeling of operating “on an island” without co-workers to bounce ideas off of, or colleagues to share advice, questions and feedback.

Michelle, owner of blaksands - is on a mission to cultivate a positive and welcoming community of like-minded people ; one where we feel safe to connect, share and seek advice.
